Paul A. Rahe, Academic Advisor for the Alexander Hamilton Institute for the Study of Western Civilization (AHI), has authored the new book “The Spartan Regime: Its Character, Origins, and Grand Strategy” which is set for release on September 27. The book discusses the government and culture of ancient Sparta and her place in Greek history and was recently reviewed in The National.

Dr. Paul A. Rahe is a noted historian of political philosophy, Professor of History and Political Science at Hillsdale College and author of the renowned study Republics Ancient and Modern: Classical Republicanism and the American Revolution.
