On December 15, Robert Paquette, President of The Alexander Hamilton Institute for the Study of Western Civilization (AHI), received an important communication. A donor, who wishes to remain anonymous but is a long-time enthusiast of the work we do, has offered AHI a $40,000 matching grant.

The donor expressed considerable satisfaction in the work AHI does but has stipulated that donations to be matched must be made to AHI or committed to it before the end of 2020.

Although some of our supporters have already donated to AHI for this year, we ask them to work their networks of friends and associates so that we can take full advantage of this extraordinary opportunity.

The AHI has accomplished so much and as we enter our second decade we need your support to continue to grow. Paquette’s December 2 President’s letter discusses a number of AHI’s accomplishments in 2020. The “Affirmations” section of our website also qualify as testaments to provide a standing metric that affirms, for all to see, what AHI has accomplished and we encourage you to read them.

To help in AHI’s fundraising effort, Resident Fellow Mary Grabar has penned a tribute to the AHI and its importance in her work.

You can donate to the AHI before the end of 2020 in several ways:

  1. Gifts of stock: Should you wish to make a stock donation, please contact Paquette at bob@theahi.org and he will provide you with the appropriate information.
  2. AHI website: You can also donate directly from our website using PayPal. More information can be found at the “Support Us” tab on our website.
  3. Checks by Mail: Please address any checks to the “AHI” and mail them directly to our headquarters at 21 W. Park Row, Clinton, NY 13323.

AHI is a tax-exempt organization within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Accordingly, contributions are deductible to the fullest extent provided by law.

If anyone would like to know more about AHI, its programs and initiatives, please feel free to contact Robert Paquette at bob@theahi.org.
